Volunteer Program

River Pines Horse Sanctuary Volunteer Program

We love that you’re interested in volunteering to help us support the horses! If you’d like to be notified of future volunteer opportunities, please subscribe to our mailing list.

We do NOT offer volunteer opportunities involving contact with our horses at this time. If you’d like some horse time in your life, we’d love to have you schedule a session (or three!) - please see the Horse Time section.

Currently, we are very much in need of administrative volunteers to assist with fundraising, grant research and writing, and other administrative duties.

Fundraising: Help us raise essential funds through developing relationships with past and potential donors, organizing events, and assisting with our fundraising campaigns.

Grant Research and Writing: Assist us in researching potential grants and foundations that align with our mission. We also need help in grant proposal writing.

Administrative Duties: Give us a hand with a wide variety of administrative and office management tasks, including sending out letters, organizing receipts and filing, and other necessary tasks.

Projects and Events: We do occasionally need assistance with larger projects such as new structures, large fencing projects, events, etc. Be sure to join our email list to be updated on these needs.

If you would like to volunteer in the areas of fundraising, grant research & writing, or administration, please contact us at or 406-207-6105.
